From the first conversation to a passed test: here is what happens when, and what you need to bring.
Five steps to your licence

Fill in the online form or call us. We arrange a free consultation and settle your licence class, your schedule and your questions.
Apply at the Bürgeramt
Important: as soon as your theory course starts, you should apply for your test at the Bürgeramt. The documents you need are listed below.
Theory
Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, 14 lessons in total. One-to-one lessons by arrangement.
Practical lessons and special drives
Driving lessons run in parallel with the theory. On top of them come the mandatory special drives — cross-country, motorway and night.
The test
You sit the mock theory test on a computer here at the school. Before the practical test we drive for another 60 minutes to warm up.

Before the practical test, a further 60 minutes of driving takes place.
Documents for your application
Important: as soon as the theory course starts, you should apply for your test at the Bürgeramt.

- Identity card
- Eyesight test
- Certificate of first-aid training (Sofortmaßnahmen am Unfallort)
State as test centre: DEKRA, and name our driving school.

Frequently asked questions
When are the theory lessons?
Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. The block comprises 14 lessons.
When is the office open?
Monday to Friday from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Outside those hours, please use the online form.
Can I learn on an automatic?
Yes. We train class B on both manual and automatic — and with B197 you learn on an automatic and are still allowed to drive a manual.
What do I need for B196?
You must have held class B for at least 5 years and be at least 25 years old. The course is 4 theory and 5 practical units of 90 minutes each. There is no exam.
Is B196 valid abroad?
No. Code 196 is valid in Germany only.
What does the licence cost with you?
That depends on your class and on how many driving lessons you need. Arrange a free consultation and you will get an honest estimate afterwards.
I have not driven for a long time. Can you help?
Yes. We offer refresher lessons and put together a suitable package after a no-obligation consultation.
Where do I apply for the test?
At the Bürgeramt, as soon as the theory course begins. State DEKRA as the test centre, and name our driving school.
You can register at 11 pm.
Our office is staffed Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The registration form is always open: fill it in and we will come back to you with a date for your free consultation.
